As I heard today, you can get authorization from Cti [Czernowitz] and this way people can be brought out of here. If it costs money, ask Uncle Manin as Aunty Ernestine is completely relying on me for this. Whatever you do for us using Dr. Krasnoselsky, you should do for the Metsch family as well, because it is thanks to them that I have something to cover myself with and that I have survived this far. Dearest Max! I am asking you too to show more interest in us this time and try to rescue us from here. Don’t waste time as we’re going to perish. A lot of people have already been saved this way.
