This list includes only clearly identifiable locations that can be precisely mapped. These are primarily specific addresses in Chernivtsi and Rădăuți. Beyond mere topography, these locations serve as visual evidence: wherever possible, each point is supplemented with imagery to make the historical localization tangible.
Residences and Forced Addresses
It is crucial to note that these addresses were only in exceptional cases chosen voluntarily. Many of the recorded points mark forced residences within the ghettos. This documentation highlights that the population remaining in their home regions also faced a terrible fate and was subject to omnipresent state terror. These locations represent not just geographical points, but the spatial dimension of disenfranchisement.
