Zilli sent this letter yesterday evening and I sent you a letter with Z. to T. I hope you received it: I have to wait for another opportunity. As there would be nothing new to say. You know almost everything. Our only chance would be home a[nd] I don’t believe that there is no hope. I do not believe the Ippa rumours they say something different every day but I nothing until I have seen facts. They say that they are calling home specialists, I wrote to T. about signing me up as a paint specialist-but I think it is only talk. I emphasised to […], but nothing works. If he could he would have done it.-They also say that many have gone to CZ for a certain sum, the Germans organize that but I don’t believe it.- I have seen nothing of the kind. The rom. Officers say that the Southkowinians are going home on the 26th t[his] m[onth]-but as I said I don’t believe anything. I always say that if there is a chance T. must know about it and there is nothing as he wrote.- a[nd] until now he has had no success.

So we stay calm a[nd] wait a[nd] hope. Of the money I received I gave half to Miklos, so now I am nearly out of money the rise in prices is enormous a[nd] not to be bought. Where Zilli is things are half the price, on the one hand it is better that she stayed there, if I wasn’t here we would not be in touch. The gentlemen Dr. Lang a[nd] Mehel robbed me off 33000 L they put it all together for car transports a[nd] left me behind, they went off into different directions they did that with a lot of people a[nd] Wassermann a[nd] Salo Zeh did that too I borrowed the money a[nd] now have to refund it myself. Just imagine such times and how the people is being used. Maybe we can get revenge one day. Do not tell anyone as it is shameful for the Jewish people to have such elements amongst them. I am chronically ill with haemorrhoids and live through some bitter days.- I was in such pain a[nd] burning yesterday I nearly went mad.-
