A few people have arrived from Radauti since the last time I wrote and made a request of you. I must say, I’m really surprised that I haven’t got any message from you yet. In view of our old friendship, I ask you emphatically not to forget me, because things are very urgent. I beg you; please see to it without fail at your first opportunity. Bear in mind that we can do nothing to alleviate things for ourselves here. I also beg you to settle the matter that Erlbaum entreated you for help on.
