I gave Zilli a note yesterday so that she could take another letter from me for you today but as I see, she hasn’t really had a chance to yet. I received your card yesterday, along with the 54 cigars. We told you ourselves how we are doing. – If I wasn’t sick, I would have come to Zilli but I haven’t been able to as I’m in terrible pain every day. Last week was really tough and I had 36 hours
of constant pain. Remind Tigon at some stage that he should do everything he can. He also enlisted me on a petition for repatriation; someone has to find out what’s happening. If you get the chance, go and see the headmaster, Mr. Prosser. He lives near Muka Horer. Tell him I want him to do something for me (there is plenty he can do). You’re best off trying to endure it as long as you can. It’d be much better, if you could be mean and just stay there. You must surely get the chance to reply this week. Give the letter to T.
